Born and raised in Silicon Valley—aka The Valley of Heart's Delight—Jafari Joseph made a radical career shift (one starlit night, being shown a vision of the valley's orchard past) by informing his friends and family that he was leaving his comfortable tech job to pursue a life-long dream of writing literary fiction.

To many, this brash act would cause far too much consternation. "Wait...you gonna start writing romance novels?" 😂

For others—it was simply a revelation. 🤩

Educated in the heart of San José (BS in Economics, 2001; MBA, 2006), Jafari has worked the past 20 years in tech before deciding to branch out.

In fact, love for his hometown casued him to wrote a book about it (a novella).

The Valley of Heart's Delight is Jafari Joseph's debut.
